Besides being conveniently located for visiting the ancient temples of the Sukhothai Historical Park and the natural wonders of the Si Satchanalai National Park, the 68-rooms boutique resort is also adjacent to the Sukhothai Airport and its unique educational diversions such as museum of ancient Thai ceramics, and the working organic rice farm that surrounds both facilities. | Guest to the Sukhothai Heritage Resort have the seasonal rhythms of traditional organic rice farming as a backdrop to their stay. During the spring months, the flooded paddies are plowed by teams of water buffalo in preparation for planting the jade-green seedlings in neat rows. Later in the year, the fields of golden stalks slowly are harvested by hand.
