Amarin Nakorn Hotel, Phitsanulok
The great advantage of this hotel is it s proximity to Phitsanulock railway station - an easy 200m walk. I booked a single room so got two single beds when one double, queen, or king would have been better. So this should be explicitly requested when booking. No water shortage in Philok as it came out of the shower rose like a fire hydrant and was not easily adjusted. Aircon somewhat suspect but as I was there only two nights did not complain. Basic room with comfortable beds. As usual in Thailand, good value. Very friendly young staff, some with basic English skills. |
Worked well but needs clear & specific instructions - see comment on hotel re single/double beds |

was very handy to the train station-not much room to drag a bag thru the streets so if you are not healthy enough get a taxi--even though it is so close-I did have a very hard time communicating anything I wanted with the staff--but then again I am in a different country |
excellent booking process--never any problem anywhere I booked thru here |

Amarin Nakorn Hotel, Phitsanulok
Near the station, so good if you need to take a train in early morning. Quite old, really need to be renewed; room was smaller than any other hotel used, darker. Even if it s cheap, not sure it deserves to spend that money.
Worst breakfast of the whole holiday, good only for asian people. |
booking by web sawadee was perfect |
