In staggering distance of all the local bars - the action is literally on your doorstep! Nice/pleasant staff, always friendly and helpful. Rooms are tidy, but are old and show signs of being patched up - so don t expect gleaming surfaces. Also, don t expect much of a view either (though I ve had worse). |

Diamond Beach Hotel, Pattaya, Beach Rd. (South) Not 3* or 2* or maybe not even 1*. Rooms not clean, dirty sheets, towels etc. Location of the hotel was good, its on the walking street, good for singles or group of friends i would NOT recommend this hotel to couples. Booked for 3 nights and stayed only 2. For this hotel book only 1 night in advance and then if you are ok with the place you can extend your stay by paying the same price. |
Booking service was good but at the time of check in when i tried to get a refund for 1 night as i didnt like the hotel i was told that the booking agent has my money and there are no refunds. There should be a refund policy, if someone pays for 3 or 4 nights and doesnt like the place he should be entitled for a refund, any amount, maybe 50%. |

Diamond Beach Hotel, Pattaya, Beach Rd. (South) I and two friends visited Pattaya on the spur of the moment. Reservations were easily made on the internet, prices reasonable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Cleaning staff ignored do not disturb sign in an effort to clean my room. Only complaint is that there was no hot water. Otherwise, very adequate. |
