Cosy Beach Hotel, Khao Phra Tamnak
I live and work in Bangkok and look forward to relaxing at Cosy Beach from time to time.
It is tucked away in a corner of a small bay overlooking the ocean; has 2 swimming pools with both sunny and shady areas. |
My booking was very efficient, expedient, and without complications via email; thanks. I commend the service. |

Good location; quiet, peaceful, clean weather and not far from shops (by driving). Good deal in low season. Nice place for relaxation. Nice pool but fitness is very simple. Room is ok though not very superb but clean enough. Breakfast choices are not many but acceptable. However hotel staffs are not friendly and unattentive. |
Smooth & quick. |

Nice hotel, lovely view. Good we booked the new building, found that tip in these reviews! We enjoyed the pool a lot, toilets at pool were very dirty, but that was the only comment. |

Cosy Beach Hotel, Khao Phra Tamnak
Having stayed at Cosy Beach previously, I was looking forward to this return trip to once again enjoy the peace and tranquility there.
Unfortunately, the hotel has lost its charm.
The hotel was packed with hundreds of guests, mostly Russians, who, like most vacationing Europeans, charge down to the pool at sunup and remain there all day. I tried to get a sun lounge on a couple of occassions without success.
I think it s about time that hotels implemented a no reserving policy at their pools.....if the seat is vacated for more than 30 mins it should be removed.
Apart from the crowds, Cosy does continue to offer good value for money, but if a quiet tranquil holiday is needed perhaps a different hotel is in order. I won t be returning and instead will go back to Rabbit Resort nearby; it s more expensive sure, but a world away from sitting cheek by jowl with hundreds of others beside a small pool.
I m sorry to say that Cosy is no longer so Cosy. |
Sawadee s booking service remains the standard by which I judge all others. |

Cosy Beach Hotel, Khao Phra Tamnak
Positive: Excellent Location, good service, friendly staff except Bell boys which were not at all friendly. Negative:Even after 12.00 noon The room was not immediately made available since it was not ready. There were no Indian Dishes in the Break fast. Since there are many Indian Tourists the hotel must provide at least 1 Indian Dish in the breakfast on rotation basis. |

We did not enjoy - basics expected like tea/coffee in room were missing and the hotel is tired. Lovely view but nice staff are not trained well. Iron board in room - but you bring your own iron ! |
Excellent - instant assistance to relocate. No question or excuses - top class. |
