Dream Team Beach Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Ao Nui Bay my second stay at Dream Team, the first in early 2008, and I returned in Nov 2009 based on that experience. On arrival I found many changes, and rather unprepared to be doing full business. As well, they were in the midst of owner vs management/staff issues.... tensions were very evident. A shame as the Dream Team Resort is a beautiful place on a unique solid rock beach; full of life at low tide and the creator of a beautiful surf that enhances water side meals in the evening high tides. The restaurant staff did their best to serve me well when I dined there; excellent breakfast, the chef is amazing. Hoping that they can resolve the owner related problems soon as I would love to return one day but will test the waters before I commit to a full week or more. As a side note, Mo Bar just down the beach is a great alternative for evening drinks while watching Lanta s awesome sunsets... and for the diver/snorkelers, do not miss a trip to Koh Ha. |

Dream Team Beach Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Ao Nui Bay Nice bungalow s in different sizes. There were some problem with the hot water in the beginning but they solved it by installing a new machine for us!!!!! The poolarea was great. our children loved it. The beach is very rocky, you have to go to another beach to swim, the hotel provide a free pick-up transfer to three beaches. I strongly recommend Klong-nin beach. If you go there you must say hello to Wangchai from me. He will do anything to make your stay pleasent. Wangchai rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Dream Team Beach Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Ao Nui Bay Remote location for this hotel, far from everything. No cleaning at all in the room during the 3 nights we stayed there: inacceptable! Diner gala on 31st december cancelled at the last minute without being told anything: our evening was scrwed up. They lost for 2 hours a passport we left to rent a bike. Conclusion: a very bad stay overall. |

Dream Team Beach Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Ao Nui Bay The hotel is quite simple and some of the staff are quite pleasant. I stayed during peak season (chirtmas holidays) and sometimes the service was a bit slow and lacking. If only there was a sandy beach next the resort, this resot is the ultimate choice in terms of cost versus benefits. There are nearby sandy beaches which is accessible by a rented motorbike. |
