Takuapa, the districts main city to the north or south to Khao Lak city are just a short drive away and invite for bargain shopping and entertainment.

Friends with nature will enjoy bird watching in Phang-Nga's National parks and may enjoy a refreshing shower under one of the many waterfalls. One can reach Thap-Lamu pier by car in 20 minutes and catch a boat to the Samilan and Surin islands, world renowned for their spectacular diving spots and untouched natural beauty above the water.
