Paradorn Inn Hotel, Chumphon
Good basic hotel. We had an interconnecting room for ourselves and our 9 year old son (double room too small for extra bed). No taxis in the town. We phoned the hotel from the station and they sent a tuk tuk (more like a mini songtheaw) for us. Staff helpful, owner (though not others) spoke English. |
Excellent as usual. |

Not great - stayed in Suriwong Chumphon Hotel on the way back through Chumphon and thought it was cleaner (and cheaper). |
Easy and very straightforward |

We stayed in a VIP Suite, the best room in the hotel!
It was simply furnished but clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities perfectly adequate.
The hotel (both inside and out)looks a bit neglected although the heavy rain made everything look very drab.
Restuarant completely charmless although breakfast was acceptable. The hotel is centrally located and there are two modern restauants (plus others)just around the corner serving very good food.
Very friendly hotel manager speaks good english. Other staff were friendly and helpful but not much english spoken.
This is a perfectly adequate place to stay for one or two nights stopover . |
Very good. System worked well even in this hotel which probably does not get many foreign travellers pre-booking through an agency. |

A good clean hotel with A/C for an overnight stay. Location ok - a short walk to restaurants + bars. |
